Earthquake

I know some of you felt that BIG earthquake, 7.2 in Baja California, Mexico and about 4.2 here, HUGE!!! Some of you were in Hawaii or in the car, but I wanna hear some funny stories about the "earthquake experience." Here is mine (not that funny, but ironic):
So our water in the fridge stopped working so we started using tap water and then we would purify it. The top on the filter always comes off (another funny story), and will get everything well... wet.
So this time I purposely made sure that I held the cap and didn't make any sudden movements that would make the water spill. Halfway through pouring my glass, the earthquake started. Guess what happened? (I think you can make an EDUCATED guess/answer! Or, at least, I HOPE you can?!?!?) That is my "funny experience," and I know there are MORE out there, so COMMENT COMMENT COMMENT!!!!
P.S. If you didn't know what happened, the water spilled- all over the place.

  2. OMG, how funny!!! Remember when we spilled the water... THAT WAS HILARIOUS!!! Well just saying that the earthquake made me shake all over and feel a little dizzy. Everything in the house shook, even the kitchen counter!

  3. Well i was eating some cake and ice cream and we were at my grnadma's house with family that is just a couple of minutes away. The earthquake started and we were just sitting at the table looking around. It started to get super soft real quickly so we just sat at the table and watched eachother. Then it got much bigger and we all found somewhere to stay till it was all safe. I thought it was funny and started laughing and jumping around. That is my amazing experience. Tada!

  5. Okay, i know i am VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY late. but here's what happened at my house...................

I was sitting on my brand new couch that we got like 2 weeks b4 the quake, and i was painting my nails while watching Patrick Star on television (it was the House Fancy episode) and right when he flushed the toilet.... the earthquake happened. I had to put the cotton ball that i was using to take the paint off of my nails on the couch while it still had the polish remover on it...... so i ran outside and saw the street literally moving up and down so i screamed and slammed the door............... about 30 seconds later the quake stopped and i went back to painting my nails..... and when i took the cotton ball off the couch, it bleached the spot that it was on and now there is one spot on my brown couch that is orange.
